It’s not your job to understand how the size of a postcard can impact your bottom line, to navigate the Byzantine complexities of the latest postal rate hike, or to perform complex merge-personalization operations.

That’s our job. When you hand your mailing off to us and we ferret out ways to save you time and money. And we can handle as little or as much of your printing and mailing job as you like.

But be warned: you may think you are saving money by having employees stuff and seal envelopes, then slap on a printed label. Chances are, if you are sending out over a few hundred pieces, you are paying too much in postage, materials, and employee time. And what about mistakes that can happen, such as an incorrect indicia, incorrect sizing, or using the wrong mailing class?

We’ve been able to get mailings for our nonprofit clients as low as $.088 per piece. Our for-profit clients have seen postage as low as $0.14 per piece. That’s a far cry from the over 55 cents per piece you’ll pay when using an office postage machine or just heading to the post office with a bunch of boxes.

And if you’re using a postal permit (required for bulk and discount mailing), you’re looking at an annual cost of at least $245. When you work with us, you use our permits, which is another cost savings and headache alleviated.

Cleaning Your Lists

If you are self-mailing, it’s hard to know if your mail reached its destination. Most businesses see the mailers that bounce back as undeliverable. But that’s not an accurate way to measure success.

The solution is clean mailing lists to save the cost of printing and mailing in the first place. Let The Print + Mailing Center check all your data, including correct physical and email addresses, names, and all other current information before your piece hits the mailing stream. A clean list of 1000 addresses beats a junk-filled list of 5000 any day.

What is more, once we’ve cleaned your list (and perhaps added other valuable data like email addresses), we can send it back to you so you can update and cleanse your own house list, CRM, and more.
